The Heart of the Historic Center Walk

Rome is a massive metropolitan city, covering 500 square miles. Rome doesn’t have a downtown, so to speak, but it does have what the Romans refers as the Centro Storico, the Historic Center. Most of today’s Romans live outside of the Historic Center, only commuting in for work or for recreation.
